About
Abby is a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist who is committed to supporting children and families in achieving meaningful communication and feeding outcomes.
She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and has substantial experiences working across hospitals, clinics, community programmes, and early intervention settings.
With a strong foundation in neurodiversity-affirming practices, Abby celebrates each child’s strengths and individuality. She believes that therapy should be a safe, joyful, and empowering experience—one where children feel understood, respected, and confident to
explore and develop their communication skills.
Her approach is child-led and play-based, grounded in the belief that meaningful progress happens when therapy aligns with a child’s
natural interests, developmental pace, and autonomy.
Abby specialises in supporting neurodivergent children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), genetic conditions, and feeding challenges. Her sessions are designed to be engaging and collaborative. She also works closely with caregivers to embed practical, family-friendly strategies into daily routines.
To her, therapy is more than skill-building—it is about fostering connection, confidence, and shared joy between children and their caregivers.
Abby is multilingual and speaks English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, allowing her to support families across diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
