About

Qianyi is a Child Psychologist and has worked in a school for children with special needs for more than 7 years. She has always been inquisitive and passionate about working with children with special needs as she believes that behaviour is a child’s form of communication.

During her sessions, she endeavours to understand and connect with her clients through child-led play and learning. Qianyi’s intervention approach is one that is eclectic as she aims to tailor her therapy to best fit the needs of her clients.

Besides working directly with children, Qianyi firmly believes in the importance of collaborating with and empowering families in providing psychosocial support for their children with special needs. When parents put on a holistic lens to better understand their child, it helps them to recognise their child’s strengths and interests beyond their child’s challenges.

Qianyi is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Outside of work, Qianyi enjoys her outdoor runs and walks. She is also a certified yoga instructor who finds her zen on her yoga mat.
