About
Rebecca is a fun-loving and passionate therapist that enjoys working with children and their families. She believes in the power of teamwork and collaboration (with families, professionals, and/or schools) in order to provide holistic assessments and interventions. In her therapy sessions, she endeavours to create a safe space where children can learn, grow and achieve their fullest potential.
Rebecca began her career as an NCSS scholar and later went on to be part of the Sun Ray Scheme serving the social service sector. Over the course of 8 years, she has had the privilege of working in a plethora of settings such as child development units, therapy hubs, early intervention centres, and schools (special education and mainstream). Rebecca has worked with a variety of children with delays and developmental conditions (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorders, Hearing Loss, Down syndrome, medically fragile population), presenting with mild to severe difficulties in speech, language, communication, feeding and/or overall child development.
Out of work, Rebecca loves to unleash her creativity through abstract painting, splashing bright paint onto large stretches of canvas. Just as her paintings have brought joy to others, she hopes that through her therapy sessions, she is able to do the same with the children and families too!
