About

Tanya is a registered Occupational Therapist with more than a decade of experience working with the paediatric population. She holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC). Her professional journey has spanned across a variety of settings, including therapy clinics, Early Intervention Centres, preschools, and an international school.

Tanya has worked extensively with children between the ages of 4 and 13, supporting individuals with a range of developmental needs, including those from neurodiverse backgrounds. She has provided individualized therapy, small group therapy, and integrated therapy services within classroom environments, all tailored to meet each child’s unique strengths and challenges. Tanya believes that collaboration is key to ensuring a holistic approach to therapy, and actively fosters open communication and teamwork among the educators, therapists, and families she works with. By working closely with all stakeholders, she strives to create cohesive intervention strategies that empower children to reach their full potential.

Tanya holds a graduate certificate in Sensory Processing and Sensory Integration and is passionate about this field. She believes that a well-regulated sensory system provides the foundation for a child’s engagement in meaningful daily activities and successful participation across different environments.. She recognises that every child is unique, with their own sensory profiles, learning styles, interests, and believes that therapy should be tailored to reflect these differences. Tanya believes that therapy is most  effective when evidence-based practices are integrated with play, enjoyment, and a deep understanding of each child’s unique developmental journey, ensuring that interventions are both engaging and meaningful.
