About
Yvonne is an Educational Psychologist registered with the Singapore Registrar of Psychologists (SRP). She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honors) in Psychology from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Arts (Applied Educational Psychology) from the National Institute of Education. She has over 12 years of experience in the field. Yvonne provides both assessment and therapy services for children with developmental and learning differences, social and emotional issues and challenging behaviours.
Yvonne uses a child-led play-based approach in her sessions and her gentle and encouraging demeanor quickly puts children at ease. She also adopts a family-centred and strengths-based model and works closely with parents.
Drawing on her years of experience in schools and in clinical settings, and using various techniques such as social thinking, functional behaviour analysis, floortime, CBT and executive functioning training, Yvonne specialises in a range of diagnoses, such as ADHD, ASD, Anxiety issues, school refusal, behavioral challenges, to name a few.
During her free time, Yvonne stays active by going to the gym and engaging in outdoor activities. However, her main source of exercise comes from entertaining her kids!
