Early Intervention Programme

Age Group: 2-6

Dinosaur Speech Therapy's Early Intervention Programme (EIP) is a specially curated programme that focuses on helping children attain their early developmental milestones across several key areas (communication and language skills, gross and fine motor skills, social skills, cognitive skills, life/self-help skills).

It is designed to help children who are neurodivergent and/or who have learning/developmental differences (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Down's Syndrome, Dyslexia, Developmental/Learning delays/disorders, Genetic conditions etc.)

Dinosaur Speech Therapy's Rawr-dy for School Programme is a specially tailored intervention programme that aims to help make sure children who need that extra bit of support excel and thrive when making the move to primary school.

We have seen very clearly how effective being child-directed, fun and creative can be through our individual therapy sessions over the years.

The Rawr-dy For School Programme was created with much planning and thought put into how to help children maximise learning in the mainstream school setting, as well as to ensure more children experience the fun of learning.

Curriculum

We recognise the need for the integration of several skill sets for a child to experience success in different environments. Alongside academic-focused skills, the Rawr-dy For School Programme specifically focuses on key areas crucial for making a seamless transition to school. These areas include Social Skills, Social Communication, Cognitive Skills, Fine and Gross Motor Skills, and even Creativity.

Children are assessed using the Assessment Evaluation and Planning System (AEPS) and will have an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) formulated specifically for them, where goal targets are set to ensure constant development and improvement. Both the AEPS and the IEPs are reviewed and updated at periodic intervals. We ensure there is adequate support for your child every step of the way so there will be no tears - for the child (and for the parent as well).

When your child joins our Early Intervention Programmes, you can be sure he is getting a holistic education that will ensure well-rounded development - all while having tonnes of fun!

Therapy Integration

As a therapy clinic, we understand deeply the need for specialised involvement and intervention from trained therapists. We are also well-placed to integrate therapy within our programmes.

This is why our Early Intervention Programmes have heavy involvement and input from certified Speech and Language Therapists as well as our Occupational Therapist.

We recognise that some children require more help and we want to make sure every child gets some direct input from our therapists. Your weekly progress reports will include feedback not just from the teachers, but from the therapists as well.

Our integrated model means that the therapists work hand in hand with our dedicated teachers and will even lead some of the daily classes.

Extra Curricular

Besides learning academically, we also want our children to start developing an interest in other activities through a consistent exposure to different experiences.

Visits and excursions to different places are organised to give the children an opportunity to learn across different environments, as well as to apply what they've learnt in a different setting.
