About
Joyce has experience supporting students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD). She began her journey as an Educational therapist at the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), where she worked with students facing literacy challenges and co-existing conditions
such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
During her tenure, Joyce was also a regular speaker at awareness talks, helping teachers and parents debunk misconceptions about dyslexia and providing them with practical and actionable strategies.
She is a firm believer that learning begins with trust. By fostering a supportive and encouraging environment, she ensures her students feel empowered to learn and ask questions.
She is passionate about integrating creative manipulatives and resources into her teaching and takes great care in creating personalized lesson plans that cater to each learner’s unique learning styles and needs.
