Waiting for an EIPIC place? Don't wait to start intervention.

Dinosaur School is a private programme with places now. With EIPIC Start Now, your child can start almost immediately. A few months is a long time for a toddler. Start intervention first. When an EIPIC place comes up, we facilitate that process and provide reports so the new centre can pick up where we left off.

EIPIC Start Now: Built to ease the wait

EIPIC Start Now is designed for families on the EIPIC waitlist. Same programme, same teachers and therapists as Dinosaur School, but set up around preparation that your child may leave for EIPIC in the near future.

No wait time

2 or 3 mornings a week, 9am–12pm.

No lock-in period

Pay month by month. Stop whenever you need to.

EIPIC place comes up?

Tell us and go, whenever it happens. That's what we're here for.

Continue where your child left off

We send the new centre a progress report and goals, and facilitate the transition.

What your child will get

A few months is a long stretch in early childhood. Here is how we help you make sure that time is well-spent.

Small classes

Small classes of 3–4 children per class, with 2 educators.

Therapists in the room

Speech and occupational therapists work inside the classroom, so therapy happens during real activities, not only in a separate session.

Child-led

A child-led, play- and fun-focused approach.

Clear goals

Goals in communication, play, daily routines, and fine and gross motor skills.

Daily updates

Photos and videos from every session in our parent app, so you can see how each morning went.

Regular outings

We encourage giving the children opportunities to go out and about to practise what they've learnt

A typical morning

9AM - 12PM

9.00       Arrive and settle.

Each child does as much of the arrival routine as they can on their own. Teachers step in only where needed.

9.15       Morning circle

Sitting with the group, greeting each other in turn, and going through a picture schedule so the morning feels predictable.

9.30       Table time

Focused work on each child's own goals. For one child that's asking for things in words, for another it's holding a pencil or finishing a puzzle.

10.00       Move

Obstacle courses and ball games for gross motor skills, with plenty of practice waiting, taking turns and following instructions.

10.30       Snack

One of the best times in the day to practise communication. Children ask for what they want, open their own containers and eat together.

10.55       Play

Guided play in small groups, building from playing next to other children to playing with them.

11.30       Art, sensory or story

Changes through the week. Each one works on fine motor skills, attention, or getting comfortable with new textures.

11.50       Goodbye circle

Looking back on the morning together, so children practise talking about what they did.

12.00       Pickup

A quick word with the teacher about how your child's morning went.

Now, A is better regulated, more confident, curious to explore and she has gained more independence. She is also better at communicating her needs and wants and she imitates vocal sounds. Now, she adapts much better to changes and she is thriving in her new school.
